Sponsorship & Editorial Independence

Financial support must be visible, and the work must still be worth reading. Updated October 7, 2026.

01

Clear labels before the click

Paid articles and build features must show "Advertisement" or "Sponsored by [organization]" on their listing and near the top of the page. A funded collection must identify its supporter at the collection heading. Labels must remain visible on mobile, feeds, and shared descriptions. A disclosure buried in a footer or credits drawer is not enough.

02

What support can and cannot buy

A sponsor can propose a useful subject and agree to clearly defined deliverables. Funding does not buy a positive review, suppression of a material limitation, undisclosed endorsement, or invented hands-on result. Editorial reporting remains separate from paid placements. A sponsor may check its own factual details but does not control an independent editorial verdict.

03

Products, links, and evidence

Disclose supplied equipment, payment, and affiliate relationships where they are relevant. Product claims need sources and limitations. Photographs must match the actual subject; generated or reference illustrations cannot be passed off as test evidence. Material and image reuse rights must be documented before publication.

04

Written scope, not a reach promise

Before a booking, agree in writing on the format, topic, deliverables, publication dates, label, revision boundaries, price, payment terms, usage rights, and cancellation or postponement conditions. No traffic, membership, search-ranking, sales, or conversion guarantee is offered by this site. An inquiry is not a booking.

05

Corrections remain available

Sponsored work is still subject to factual correction and moderation. Use the article comments for corrections or technical questions. Send private rights or account matters through the contact form. A paid relationship cannot remove the need to correct a factual error.
