Raspberry Pi & ESP32 Projects

Choose the job before choosing the board. A noticeboard needs a trustworthy last update; an e-book reader needs the right memory and display; a motorized microscope needs coordinated movement. These projects show where small computers and microcontrollers are useful, and where hardware compatibility can stop a build before the first upload.

Check the exact hardware

The ESP32 ePub reader requires a suitable PSRAM configuration. The weather receiver depends on compatible radio and sensor hardware as well as an upstream data source. A board with a similar name is not automatically a replacement. Check the original parts, pin assignments, and firmware environment before ordering.

Make disconnected behavior visible

The Pi noticeboard keeps stale data from looking current. The weather-station guides also distinguish downloaded forecasts from local measurements. Build one local screen or sensor reading first, then add networking. For the larger MicroscoPy build, begin with its assembly manual and circuit documentation rather than attempting every subsystem at once.
